Region MED > Customer Project Execution, MED > Bid Management EastBid Management is, within Construction Department, responsible to ensure effective construction bids in alignment with customers' expectations/tender's specifications. Reporting to the Construction Cluster Bid Manager Leader, the Construction Bid Manager is an integral part of the Bid Management team that will work in collaboration with Construction team and Vestas functions to ensure alignment between the bids/tenders, the clients' expectations and Vestas targets for all projects/contracts performed in the overall region.ResponsibilitiesExecute Construction bid response and handle the construction scope, terms, and conditions during contract negotiationsAssess construction scope and prepare tactical plan through internal project management in Operations with relevant functional areas for proposal preparation, engage with customers to optimize construction proposal and provide clarificationBudgeting and planning projects in collaboration with Construction departments (Project Management, Planning, Installation, BOP) and with other Vestas functions (Sales, Procurement, Transport, Technology...) ensuring competitive cost alignment within the project strategy and business constraintsEnsure approved construction budget (OPEC) and project programme to be included with proposalMaintain overview of major construction risks during sales phase and implement lessons learned from previous projectsReporting, analysis and evaluation of post & precalculus results to optimize cost and profitability of Vestas projectsContract Execution Package (CEP) approval in collaboration with Sales Management and supporting the Regional Head of Construction within the CEP approval processSupport business improvement initiatives to ensure competitive & value-added solutionsDevelopment, participation in the development of new construction processes: boosting plans, platform creation order to find adequate opportunities for Vestas and Vestas' customersQualificationsAt least Technical degree in Engineering, construction, logistics or similar; MBA would be rankedRelevant Project Management related certification (PMP or other similar)Minimum 4 to 8 years' experience in Project Management in the energy sector, renewables are valuedCommercial acumen and experience in working with bidsContractual terms and conditions (FDIC) knowledge and understanding is key as well as experience in Contract negotiationsFluent in English and second language like Ukranian is valued.
