As part of our continued expansion, Salveo is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and develop commercial operations in the Romanian market. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the commercial success of the business in Romania. This includes leading the local sales team, designing and executing sales strategies, managing relationships with key partners, and ensuring the alignment of field activities with business priorities. The role requires a proactive and strategic leader who understands the pharmaceutical landscape and is capable of delivering strong, measurable results in a competitive market.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement local sales strategies in line with broader regional goals
  • Monitor market performance and identify new growth opportunities (channels, clients, partnerships)
  • Evaluate competitive trends and customer dynamics to inform planning
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to shape commercial forecasts and strategic roadmaps
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Oversee and analyze commercial KPIs, including revenue performance and sales team effectiveness
  • Prepare regular reports on sales trends, field insights, and client feedback for senior management
  • Support budgeting processes and control sales-related expenditures to meet targets
  • Lead engagement with key wholesale clients and pharmacy chains
  • Negotiate annual commercial agreements and strengthen long-term partnerships
  • Identify high-potential accounts and build strategies for deeper collaboration
  • Represent the company in relevant professional forums, conferences, and client meetings
  • Inspire, coach, and lead a results-driven sales team
  • Define clear objectives, monitor individual performance, and ensure ongoing feedback and development
  • Guide the team's activities to ensure alignment with brand, sales, and marketing strategies
  • Foster a strong team culture rooted in accountability, excellence, and shared values

Profile:

Key Requirements:

  • University degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Business, or related field
  • At least 5-10 years of commercial experience in pharma, including 5+ years in a sales leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of the Romanian pharmaceutical market (OTC and Rx sectors)
  • Proven ability to manage teams and commercial operations across diverse client segments
  • Strategic mindset paired with hands-on execution skills
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Results-driven, adaptable, and able to work cross-functionally and independently
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a dynamic, and hands-on environment
  • Fluent in English and Romanian; advanced computer literacy (Excel, CRM, PowerPoint)
