About the Role
TP-Link Romania is looking for a Key Account Manager, a dynamic sales professional who will manage relationships with channel and retail partners (including DIY) and drive growth across consumer product lines business unit. The role goes beyond offline retail, integrating both traditional retail accounts and strategic channel development, ensuring TP-Link, Mercusys and Tapo products reach consumers with maximum impact.
This role completes our Consumer Sales team and offers the opportunity to directly influence TP-Link's success in the Romanian market through a mix of account management, channel expansion, and retail execution.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and grow business relationships with key consumer partners (channel, offline retail, DIY, and other assigned key accounts), ensuring sales targets (revenue/volume) are achieved.
· Plan and execute channel strategies tailored to each partner, implementing joint business plans, promotions, and sell-out activities.
· Actions aimed at optimizing presence and visibility of TP-Link, Mercusys and Tapo products in stores.
· Support new products market introduction.
· Monitor account performance, sales results, and stock levels, providing regular reports and implement actions.
· Track competitors in the consumer channel landscape, analyze pricing strategies, and propose tactical responses.
· Strengthening collaboration with assigned partners (practical experience with online/offline retail is a must), while developing additional channel/retail opportunities.
Requirements & Skills
· University degree in Economics, Marketing, Business, or Engineering with a sales orientation.
· years of proven success managing key accounts (for example ALTEX, eMAG, DIY or any other major online/retail account).
· Experience with DIY or other consumer channels is a strong plus.
· Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
· Analytical mindset, able to interpret sales, pricing, and market data.
· Proactive, results-driven, and comfortable managing multiple accounts/projects.
· Fluent in English (written and spoken).
