About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Key Account Management function across Romania and Moldova. As the Head of Key Account Managers, you will be responsible for steering the commercial strategy in the pharmaceutical FMCG market, ensuring sustainable growth and market leadership. You will inspire and guide a team of skilled Key Account Managers, foster strong collaboration across departments, and build lasting strategic relationships that support our company's ambitious objectives.
Your Responsibilities:
- Drive commercial performance by implementing innovative, consumer-focused omnichannel sales strategies.
- Develop and execute robust sales plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams to respond effectively to market shifts and consumer needs in the CHC sector.
- Lead, mentor, and empower a team of Key Account Managers to achieve both individual and collective targets.
- Manage and optimize relationships between wholesalers and pharmacy chains to maximize distribution efficiency.
- Engage with senior customers to foster strategic partnerships aligned with long-term business goals.
- Design and implement tailored market initiatives that generate immediate impact and support sustainable growth.
- Oversee business planning, forecasting, and performance review cycles to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Monitor supply chain and inventory levels to ensure seamless product availability.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and brand teams to drive consumer engagement and brand equity.
- Set clear KPIs and assess third-party partners to ensure they deliver value aligned with company standards.
- Analyze market data to identify growth opportunities, competitive threats, and emerging trends in the consumer health landscape.
- Manage budgets efficiently, balancing investment with expected commercial returns.
Your Profile:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in Consumer Health Care or FMCG sectors, preferably within multinational companies.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate consumer insights into actionable business strategies.
- Proven track record of making sound decisions in fast-paced and complex environments.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
- Solid financial acumen, including P&L management and business planning expertise.
- Fluent in local language and proficient in English at an advanced level.
