Contract Manager Assistant
to join the office in
Timișoara
.

The role plays a key part in managing the full contract lifecycle—from drafting and reviewing agreements to ensuring compliance and supporting the business in negotiations. The Contract Manager Assistant will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to mitigate risks, resolve disputes, and contribute to efficient decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafts, reviews, and negotiates a variety of contracts in line with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Maintains and updates the contract database to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Monitors compliance with contractual and legal obligations, identifying risks and proposing solutions.
  • Provides clear legal and contractual advice to management and other departments.
  • Assists in handling contractual disputes and liaises with external partners, advisors, or authorities.
  • Supports continuous improvement of contract management processes and templates.
  • Maintenance of confidentiality regarding work-related activities to third parties.
  • Assistance in drafting and negotiating Subcontracting Contracts or service provisions, addenda, and other related documents, including change orders and modifications.
  • Supports in monitoring subcontractor and supplier performance against contractual obligations.
  • Monitors key contract dates.
  • Liaising with technical and financial staff, sub-contractors, legal teams
  • Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in law (mandatory).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in legal advisory, contract management, or a related field in construction.
  • Solid knowledge of HG 1 / 2008
  • Solid knowledge of civil, commercial, and fiscal law.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and document drafting skills.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn
  • Proficiency in Romanian and English (written and spoken).
