POSITION SUMMARY
The Purchasing Executive is responsible for securing space and negotiating the best possible hotel rates and conditions for TTC group business across the EMEA region. The role ensures hotels meet required quality, standards, and location criteria within budget, while maintaining strong relationships with hotel suppliers and internal clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Hotel Procurement & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all group bookings are confirmed on time, within budget, and at the required quality level.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal clients.
- Develop long-term supplier partnerships aligned to business goals.
- Strengthen collaboration through proactive communication.
- Act as the key liaison between suppliers and internal teams.
2. Supplier Sourcing & Market Insights
- Source and select suppliers that enhance guest satisfaction and uphold brand standards.
- Conduct market research—online hotel research and competitive analysis—to identify new partners.
- Monitor and track hotel openings in collaboration with the contracting team.
- Evaluate supplier offerings to ensure alignment with service, quality, and brand expectations.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Liaise with Sales offices, Supplier Relationship Managers, Operations, Accounts, and Product Build teams as needed.
- Ensure effective communication and teamwork to support broader business objectives.
4. Negotiations & Issue Resolution
- Negotiate and waive cancellation charges by liaising with suppliers and presenting business justification.
- Reduce cancellation fees wherever possible through strategic negotiation.
- Support TCA hotel emergencies outside office hours, following the rota schedule.

- Ability to secure reliable, high-quality, and cost-effective hotels.
- Ability to negotiate competitive rates with suppliers.

- Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Additional European languages are an advantage.
