Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate private and corporate events (weddings, receptions, parties, conferences, etc.)

Will manage the whole process from the planning stage, right through to running the event and carrying out the post-event evaluation.

  • Planning an event from start to finish.
  • Generating ideas for the event.
  • Managing event budgets.
  • Liaise with clients to find out their exact event requirements
  • Manage and coordinate suppliers and all event logistics (for example flowers, audio video, etc)
  • Coordinate suppliers, handle client queries to ensure that all runs smoothly and to budget.

Maintains constant communication with clients to ensure their loyalty;

Ensures the smooth running of all events organized within the hotel;

Achieves the semi-annual/annual sales target.

Requirements:

Previous experience in event planning or wedding coordination (a strong plus;)

Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills;

Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills;

Attention to detail and a client-oriented mindset.
