Contract Manager

If you have experience working within Contract Management with several projects in portfolio, then this position is for you Region MED > Customer Project Execution, MED > Contract ManagementReporting to the Head of Contract Management and supporting the Head of Construction & Project Managers, within Customer Project Execution Department, the Contract Manager will be responsible to support the execution of the Projects regarding the fulfillment of the contractual rights and obligations arising from the contracts for all projects executed in the region.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and obtain a clear understanding of the Main Contract and corresponding Annexes as well as elaborate the necessary documentation to support the Project Manager on the proper understanding of the rights and obligationsProvide contractual analysis and guidance linked to the events shared by the Project teamDrafting and organizing Contractual Notices, response to customer Letters or any other notification, within the project strategy and business constraintsSupport on the claim (extensions of time event and extra costs) preparations and corresponding negotiationsFollow-up internal approvals & compliance documentationReporting, analysis and evaluation of projects outcome/results to optimize cost and profitability of Vestas projectsProvide contractual feedback to different stakeholders/management within a developing strategy to improve future contracts clausesQualificationsBachelor's degree in law or Industrial Engineer but other careers would be consideredMinimum 4 year experience in Contract Management or similar positionExperience in EPC contracts, managing the main contract and civil and electrical subcontractorsAdvanced level of English is requiredCompetenciesSkills in business understanding and information/data analysisHigh reading comprehensionGood interpersonal and communication skillsCapacity to prioritizeWhat we offerWe offer an innovative job, high-quality learning environment and opportunities for career development at a well-established wind turbine manufacturer.Our commitment to a fair hiring At Vestas, we evaluate all candidates solely based on their professional experience, education, and relevant skills.
