Who are we recruiting for:

Our client is a well-known EPC Contractor and Developer for Solar projects, headquartered in London with regional offices in Bucharest, Valencia, Athens, Istanbul, and Dubai, among others. The company employs over 350 specialized professionals and has been active since 2006. They have completed more than 500 PV projects across three continents, totaling over 2GW, and have a strong pipeline of future projects.

What will you be doing:

  • Manage and oversee all construction contracts across solar PV and BESS projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
  • Support the procurement and project teams in contract preparation, negotiation, and execution
  • Review contractor proposals, track variations, and manage extensions of time
  • Ensure contractual compliance with health & safety regulations, CDM duties, and internal policies
  • Coordinate with engineering, commercial, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Maintain the contract register, manage budgets, and monitor forecasts for future spend
  • Act as the main point of contact for external contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders regarding contractual matters
  • Support dispute resolution and risk mitigation related to contracts
  • Prepare and present regular reports on contract performance, obligations, and risks

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • Experience managing contracts for energy or renewable projects in Romania
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, or equivalent construction contracts
  • Ability to take a pragmatic and proactive approach to contract risk, HSE, and quality management
  • Commercially astute, with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiar with managing contractor deliverables (scope, budget, schedule) and ensuring alignment with project objectives
