Role: Key Account Manager

Location: Bucharest

Mission:

The Key Account Manager will act as the primary customers' contact for demand creation by executing the marketing and promotional strategy for the company's commercialized products in the assigned territory, as defined by organization's territorial goals, values and ethics.

Duties:

  • Responsible for positioning the products in the market and implementing the execution of the corporate strategy.
  • Organize, control, and implement the accurate execution of promotional and marketing activities, including hospitals tenders and/or products' donations procedures.
  • Apply the corporate strategy that has been agreed, under the right promotional policies, to achieve the departmental and corporate goals.
  • Report to the Country Lead with periodical reports for the execution of predefined action plans and competitors' actions and directs the strategy's implementation to the local needs.
  • Plan the local promotional activities and assists with her input on the design of local marketing activities and strategies according to the predefined local budget.
  • Cooperate with all local staff and Genesis Pharma departments for better coordination and goals' maximization.
  • Demonstrate a deep scientific knowledge of the company's products.
  • Prepare action plans for all current and future commercial opportunities.
  • Represent the company in meetings and conferences.
  • Deliver presentations to HCPs (one to one, stand alone, focus groups).
  • Call planning and execution with relevant stakeholders and opinion leaders, effectively managing client relationships.
  • Assist on/Run the localization of all promotional/marketing materials.
  • Communicate with the wholesaler and hospital accounts.
  • Check the budget for setting the promotional actions and continuously monitors its execution.
  • Develop, recommend, and execute short term and long-term promotional plans.
  • Abide to the corporate policies and procedures as well as the business ethics codes.
  • Ensure continuous compliance with all local/international Regulations, Codes of Conduct, Codes of Ethics, and contracts.
  • Additional responsibilities that are aligned with the administrative actions of the respective department, may be assigned to the holder of this position.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
  • Large account management experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data (clinical, market, financial, and managed care) and to develop strategic and actionable business plans.

  • Display strong organizational and time management skills; multi-tasks effectively; serves as a role model for completing tasks and delivering on commitments in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer orientation; is science-based and marketing-minded.
  • Proven knowledge of English language (Written & Verbal).
  • Good knowledge of all applicable legislations.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Very good in market knowledge, including customers' needs, relationships, and dynamics.
  • Willingness to travel and operate within a professional team.
