Adecco is looking for an
Operational Logistics Specialist
for one of our clients, a company in the retail industry.

In this role, you will help optimize logistics performance, drive efficiency, and implement cost-effective solutions. You'll work closely with logistics partners (3PLs), cross-functional teams, and international colleagues to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and coordinate the performance of 3PL service providers in warehousing and transportation operations.
  • Collaborate with 3PL partners and internal stakeholders to improve operational processes.
  • Track outstanding deliveries and ensure timely inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Manage the damage clearance process for warehousing and transportation.
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
  • Oversee inbound processes and coordinate returns from customers and partners.
  • Organize and execute the scrapping process.
  • Support stock-taking activities.
  • Participate in the 3PL service provider selection process during tenders.
  • Monitor operational logistics KPIs and take ownership of results.
  • Prepare and maintain logistics operations reports.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize costs and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Professional experience in operational logistics (warehousing and/or transportation).
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Solid understanding of warehousing and transportation processes.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in creating and working with reports in MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive, can-do attitude.
