Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Supplier Specialist (Freight Forwarder), based in Bucharest. The Supplier Specialist will be responsible for managing relationships with suppliers, coordinating freight forwarding activities, and ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of goods. Tasks include negotiating contracts, managing documentation, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues that arise during transportation. The role also involves collaborating with various teams to optimize logistics solutions and maintain high standards of service quality.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Supplier Management and relationship building with freight forwarders
  • Knowledge of coordinating freight forwarding activities, including road transport (FTL)
  • Proficiency in managing documentation, including customs paperwork and transportation contracts
  • Ability to track shipments and resolve transportation issues efficiently
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Romanian languages
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a hybrid work environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
