Job Overview:

Weatherford have a great opportunity for an experienced Sales & Operations Demand Planner to join the team in Ploiesti. The Sales & Operations Demand Planner will be responsible for the development, approval, quality and accuracy of the unit level forecast for all products under multiple product lines within each Segment. This role will partner with the Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to deliver accurate forecasts that represent the best thinking from all key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for producing accurate demand forecasts for all products under multiple product lines.
  • Maintain and update statistical models and data in the forecasting system.
  • Determine trends and performance for business and operational metrics.
  • Review and manage statistical model exceptions.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Geozone teams to ensure all aspects of forecast are covered including SKUs to forecast.
  • Own and manage S&OP process for the product line.
  • Tracks and analyses forecast variance / bias and updates forecasts to continually improve forecast accuracy.
  • Identify best practices and improvement opportunities.
  • Establish process for Firm demand loading in ERP.
  • Define and train users on ERP inputs requirement and KPI for Demand accuracy.
  • Engage and Lead DRP implementation across the GZ from Demand to Supply and engage in the Distribution Center deployment.
  • Set up ERP Vendor and Customer Managed Inventory to keep inventory levels within contractual guidelines.
  • Balance supply with demand for the product line and identify constraints.
  • Complete analysis on inventory turns and implement systems to increase performance.
  • Manage opportunities to improve inventory redeployments.
  • Work with manufacturing facilities to improver operational measures including OTD, Past Due, Lead Time etc and align MFG deliverable with OPS Demand.
  • Monitor supplier performance and work towards supplier lead time reduction.
  • Manage demand and planning parameters including forecast, safety stock and min-max.
    Report on product delivery to internal stakeholder

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, industrial management, supply chain or other relevant fields.
  • 5 years' experience in a demand planning, supply chain management, inventory management, manufacturing roles.
  • Good understanding of supply chain best practices and procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with associates at all levels.
  • Display impeccable time-management, detail oriented and a high level of accuracy.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Possess the collaboration and communication skills to be effective in multi-regional or global settings.

Preferred:

  • Certifications from Supply Chain & Manufacturing organizations (APICS, SCM, ASQ etc) nice to have.
  • Previous experience with Sales & Operations Planning would be a plus.
    ERP Systems experience nice to have.
