We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our eMobility team. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our public charging station network by establishing strategic partnerships, with a strong focus on municipalities and local authorities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of sustainable mobility by accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs).

:

  • Network Expansion: Identify opportunities to extend the public EV charging station network by securing new locations in partnership with municipalities, public authorities, and other strategic stakeholders.
  • Partnership Development: Build and maintain long-term relationships with municipal decision-makers, local governments, urban planners, and relevant stakeholders to drive mutually beneficial agreements. Follow up and expand cooperation with existing partners to further develop the network;
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for municipalities, presenting tailored solutions and aligning our charging infrastructure plans with their sustainability and mobility goals.
  • Negotiations: Lead negotiations and drafting contracts for site acquisition for contracts, agreements, and partnerships, ensuring alignment with company objectives and financial targets.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (operations, legal, technical) to ensure smooth implementation of charging station deployments. Collaborate closely with the Operational team who is responsible for the construction and installation of the Charging stations, to identify and secure optimal locations for EV charging stations, considering factors such as accessibility, convenience, and energy infrastructure.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and funding opportunities relevant to EV infrastructure. Staying informed about and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and permitting requirements for EV charging installations.
  • Reporting & KPIs: Track project progress, measure key performance indicators, and prepare regular reports on network expansion initiatives.
  • Customer Engagement: Developing initiatives to engage and educate potential customers, promoting the benefits of our client's charging infrastructure.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Environmental Studies, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in key account management, business development, or sales, preferably in sectors like e-Mobility, renewable energy, infrastructure, or public-private partnerships.
  • Proven experience working with municipalities, public authorities, or government entities.
  • Sales or Project Management skills and experience;
  • Proven experience working with municipalities, public authorities, or government entities, is a plus.
  • Experience in energy/electrical market is a plus;
  • A deep understanding of the eMobility market, public infrastructure development, and sustainable urban mobility trends is a plus.
  • Nice to have knowledge of applicable laws and regulations within the power, gas and energy efficiency sectors;
  • Advanced English skills;
  • Driver's licence;
  • Proficiency in [CRM tools, MS Office, etc.]
