Your impact

As an IT Asset Management (ITAM) Analyst you will responsible for tracking, managing, and optimizing the lifecycle of IT infrastructure hardware and software assets within the Cloud Digital Operations Organization (Infrastructure Team). This role ensures accurate inventory, compliance with licensing agreements, and cost-effective asset utilization. You will collaborate with Infrastructure leadership and technical teams to maintain data integrity and support strategic decision-making to support OpenText environments.

What The Role Offers

  • Maintaining and updating the IT asset inventory system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitoring asset lifecycle stages: procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Reporting on compliance with software licensing agreements and regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting regular audits and reconciliations of hardware and software assets.
  • Collaborating with Infrastructure leadership to manage asset acquisition and renewals.
  • Generating reports and dashboards to provide insights into asset utilization, optimization, disposition and currency.
  • Supporting incident and change management processes by providing asset-related data.
  • Developing and maintaining ITAM policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Assisting in forecasting asset needs and budgeting for IT hardware and software.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation in asset management.

What You Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT asset management or related IT operations role.
  • Familiarity with ITAM and data analysis tools
  • Strong understanding of software licensing models and hardware lifecycle management.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using AI to automate processes and reduce manual workload.
