Job Description
As a Pricing Specialist, you'll use your analytical skills to support the development of pricing strategies that balance growth, competitiveness, and profitability. You'll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and other teams to evaluate market trends, customer behavior, competitor activity, and cost drivers. Your work will provide clear insights that help guide pricing decisions and align them with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to pricing, sales, market trends, and costs;
- Pricing Strategy Development: Support the design and execution of pricing models and strategies, ensuring they reflect market conditions, customer behavior, and business goals;
- Market Research & Benchmarking: Conduct competitor analysis and market studies to identify pricing trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for adjustment;
- Reporting & Visualization: Build dashboards and reports to communicate pricing performance and actionable insights. Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an advantage;
- Performance Monitoring: Track the impact of pricing initiatives on sales, revenue, and profitability, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement;
- Forecasting & Modeling: Develop financial and pricing models to forecast revenue and predict the impact of price changes;
- Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution of pricing strategies;
- Innovation & AI-Driven Insights: Leverage AI-powered analytics and automation tools to enhance pricing models, improve efficiency, and uncover new business opportunities;
- Governance & Pricing Authority: Serve as the central reference point for pricing methodology, ensuring consistency, transparency, and alignment with audit and compliance standards;
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Statistics, or Data Science (Master's degree is a plus);
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in pricing, financial analysis, or commercial strategy.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office is required;
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau is an advantage;
- Familiarity with AI-based analytics or automation tools is an advantage;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights;
- Excellent communication skills to present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences;
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
- Commercial mindset and collaborative approach to drive alignment across stakeholders.
