Founded in Barcelona, the company employs more than 380 professionals worldwide and has factories, distribution centers and commercial delegations in Europe, America and Asia.
1. Position Overview:
The
Technical Sales Representative
is responsible for driving sales growth by promoting firm's
electrical and mechanical fastening technology
solutions within the assigned territory. This role requires a
self-starter
who is
independent
,
proactive
, and comfortable managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical support to clients. The ideal candidate thrives in a
client-facing role
, enjoys
traveling
, and has experience or interest in the
construction industry

fixing technologies
.
2. Key Responsibilities:
2.1. Sales & Business Development:
- Promote and sell firm's fastening technology products and services to distribution partners, construction companies, and other relevant clients.
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to maximize sales opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify potential business prospects and industry trends.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to potential clients, demonstrating product benefits and solutions.
2.2. Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients in the assigned territory, providing post-sale support.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
2.3. Technical Expertise & Problem-Solving:
- Understand the technical features of firm's products to recommend the most suitable solutions for client needs.
- Provide product training and technical advice to clients.
- Troubleshoot product issues and offer practical solutions when required.
2.4. Marketing & Brand Promotion:
- Participate in marketing initiatives, including trade shows, events, and promotional campaigns.
- Support efforts to increase firm's brand awareness within the Romanian market.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on local campaigns and customer outreach strategies.
2.5. Reporting & Data Analysis:
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to support management decisions.
- Track sales performance against targets and KPIs.
- Provide insights into customer needs, market changes, and competitive activity.
3. Qualifications & Requirements:
- Degree in
Civil Engineering
is preferred. - OR, minimum of
5 years of sales experience
in the
construction industry
if no degree is held. - Experience in the fixing technology sector
is a strong advantage. - Skills:
- Business-proficient in
English
(both written and spoken). - Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid
driving license
and willingness to travel extensively within Romania.
4. Working Conditions:
- Remote field-based role
with frequent travel (80%+ of time) within the assigned territory. - Participation in client meetings, industry events, and trade shows as required.
