Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Protection & Resilience Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating global governance and preparing reports for management committees.

You will manage projects to enhance preparedness, response, resilience, and security, support global crisis response operations, and raise awareness of protection and resilience across our organization.

  • Maintain an overview of all protection and resilience activities being performed, ensuring harmonization to prevent silos and work towards common goals.
  • Support the update and maintenance of protection and resilience programs to ensure timely delivery of routine lifecycle activities and strategic projects.
  • Prepare reports by coordinating inputs from various protection and resilience experts for reporting to management committees or executive management.
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators and key risk indicators for all protection and resilience domains.
  • Support senior experts in managing strategic projects and initiatives that build or enhance global protection and resilience capabilities.
  • Support the tactical response coordinators with the response to local or global disruptions, emergencies, or crises.
  • Chair and coordinate global and local protection and resilience calls with our network.
  • Coordinate protection and resilience awareness initiatives across our organization.
  • Remain up-to-date on industry trends and best practices relating to protection and resilience.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in operational resilience, crisis management, emergency management, disaster management, business continuity management, protective security, risk management, intelligence, analysis, project management, governance, strategy, business administration, or related field.
  • University degree in a relevant discipline, such as disaster/emergency management, risk management, international security, business administration, political science, economics, or related field.
  • Profound interest in protection and resilience-related topics, motivated and highly committed to actively expand skills and topic expertise.
