Global Workday Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Global Workday Support Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading organization, providing technical support and guidance on the use of Workday HCM.

  • Job Summary:
  • This role involves managing a team of Level 2 Analysts, setting priorities and development goals, and maintaining proper change management documentation to satisfy internal/external audit controls and compliance practices.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for effective stakeholder management, representing the HCM Product Manager in Change Control Boards, and proactively monitoring new features released by Workday.
  • Additionally, this role requires accountability for the provision of up-to-date process documentation and safeguarding global standards and principles against competing requests and priorities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a team of Level 2 Analysts, including setting priorities and development goals.
  2. Maintain proper change management documentation to satisfy internal/external audit controls and compliance practices.
  3. Represent the HCM Product Manager in Change Control Boards and CAB as needed.
  4. Proactively monitor new features released by Workday and advocate for appropriate adoption plans.
  5. Accountable for the provision of up-to-date process documentation.
  6. Safeguard global standards and principles against competing requests and priorities.

Requirements:

  • Two years of Workday HCM experience, preferably in a global organization.
  • People management experience resulting in collaboration, knowledge sharing, and open teamwork.
  • Effective team player and experience working with others to achieve a common goal.
  • Stakeholder management, engagement, and communication skills.
  • Experience identifying and delivering process improvements.
  • Contribution to elements of technology or business change projects.
  • Provide functional expertise and guidance to People Teams.
  • Experience taking ownership of queries and resolving them successfully.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and confident communication across all mediums.
  • Ability to deliver to deadlines and prioritize effectively.
