Customs Operations SpecialistJob Overview

We are seeking a skilled Customs Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations group, you will be responsible for ensuring that all customs declarations are accurate and compliant with local requirements.

In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant cross-border shipments. Your expertise in customs regulations and procedures will enable us to maintain high standards of compliance and efficiency.

You will be responsible for:

  • Handling information and documents to or from other units, external service providers, and authorities to ensure timely and accurate customs clearances.
  • Securing customs relevant data and documents for exports, including issuance and maintenance of certificates of origin, free trade agreements, and other necessary documentation.
  • Preparing and submitting customs declarations and applying for imports and exports within assigned regions or countries.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of customs operational processes, data, documents, and requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in customs operations, preferably in the import and export sector.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and inaccuracies.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Fluency in English and Romanian (written and oral).
Preferred Qualifications
  • IT knowledge, including proficiency in Power BI and Python.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
