Responsibilities:
- Explore fuel (domestic and international) and service markets for road transport fleets, identifying market trends, development potential, and prospects interested in DKV services
- Monitors competition and provides relevant information to the direct manager regarding competitors' actions and approaches in the market
- Makes proposals to the direct manager regarding actions/tools necessary to facilitate the development of the customer portfolio, enhance customer loyalty, increase efficiency, and profitability in the managed area
- Identifies and acquires new clients in accordance with the established sales plan
- Manages the existing customer portfolio, providing support, consultancy, and personalized solutions to increase loyalty and grow revenue through cross-selling and upselling activities
- Identifies customer needs, potential use of DKV services and products for prospects and existing customers
- Design customized offers that respond to the potential and specific activities of customers (route proposals and supply solutions, comparative price analysis, refueling station recommendations, product and service recommendations, with customized customer attributes)
- Start the process of implementing the commercial conditions offered to customers in accordance with DKV standards and procedures
- Visits prospects and customers in the portfolio
- Analyses the portfolio and implements measures to reduce and prevent customer losses, decrease customer turnover, to adapt commercial conditions in order to maximize the use of DKV products and services, to maximize portfolio profitability
- Present to customers offers for additional products as well as those used to increase the use of products in the customer's portfolio
- Process customer requests and complaints, communicate effectively with support departments to clarify situations reported
- Collaborates with Customer Service and Credit Control departments to serve customers and comply with DKV policies and procedures
- Implement the company's commercial policies to promote and improve the presence of the products/services marketed in the assigned area
- Regularly compile periodic reports on conducted activities, recording essential information such as prospects, opportunities, visits, etc., in the designated information systems
- Conducts analyses, makes proposals, and prepares reports in accordance with the requests of the direct manager
- Responsible for the accuracy of the information provided to line managers and to the departments of the company with which collaborates
What makes you stand out:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or transportation
- Experience in B2B fuel card sales is an advantage
- Relevant experience in managing a customer portfolio
- Excellent product and service promotion skills to customers
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Customer-oriented individual with a focus on results, with presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Analytical thinking and financial understanding
- English language - intermediate level
- MS Office - intermediate level
- Category B driver's license
- Available for travel
