[Position Summary]
The Sales Manager is responsible for sales and business development activities across
Balkan countries
, for the company's tire product portfolio (PCR/LTR).
This role is responsible for developing the sales strategy building and maintaing strong customer relationships, driving revenue growth, increasing market share with developing new customer, with aligning new branch office setting up and preparation under the Nexen Tire EU HQ sales expansion target.
[Key Responsibilities]
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Manage day-to-day sales activities across the Balkan region for Nexen Tire's PCR and LTR products.
- Develop and execute the annual sales strategy for the Balkan tire market and achieve sales targets through proactive customer management and market execution.
- Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities, competitive trends, and customer needs.
Sales Management
- Manage key accounts including major tire wholesalers, distributors, and fleet, on-line customers.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, and contracts with strategic partners.
New Business Development
- Identify and develop new business channels (retail networks, e-commerce, fleet sales, B2B partnerships
- Expand distributor network and strengthen existing partner relationships.
- Work closely with marketing to execute brand positioning and promotional campaigns.
Financial & Operational Management
- Monitor sales performance, market share, and profitability on a monthly basis.
- Manage sales budgets, pricing strategies, and discount policies in line with corporate guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and ethical business practices.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate with supply chain, product, and marketing teams to ensure timely product availability and market support.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, market intelligence, and competitor analysis to regional leadership.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows
[Qualifications & Requirements]
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 7+years of sales experience in the Tire industry
(Manufacturer or Distributor or Retailer) with at least
3 years in a management role
. - Experience in managing sales in Balkan region is an advantage.
- Experience with both B2B and B2C sales channels
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and sales analytics tools.
Languages
- Good command of English
- Additional language skills in Serbian, Bulgarian, or Bosnian preferred.

- Achievement of annual sales revenue and margin targets.
- Market share growth in PCR/LTR segments.
- Expansion and retention of key accounts and distributor network.
- Customer satisfaction and brand recognition scores.

. The exact office location is currently being finalized and will be announced in due course (likely in or near central Bucharest). Depending on the position and hiring stage, the recruitment process may take place either virtually or in person.
