Fabric Infrastructure Engineer

Andersen is looking for a Fabric Infrastructure Engineer for a Dutch SaaS company. The role focuses on building a multitenancy platform to support digital solutions in healthcare and childcare.

The customer is a well-established Dutch software company providing comprehensive SaaS solutions tailored for the healthcare and childcare industries. Trusted by over 800 care organizations and used by thousands of professionals, their solutions help streamline administrative processes, reduce workloads, and improve the overall quality of care. With several offices across the Netherlands and a team of approximately 450 specialists, the customer is committed to supporting care providers with technology that enhances efficiency, flexibility, and human connection.

The project is focused on building a new multitenancy fabric platform to support healthcare and childcare professionals in delivering better care through innovative digital solutions.

Technology stack: Cisco ACI, VXLAN, EVPN, Juniper Contrail, L2/L3 networking, BGP/OSPF, VRFs, VLANs, ACLs.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and deploying a multitenant fabric infrastructure for enterprise use.

• Setting up tenant separation, VRFs, and secure network segmentation.

• Configurating L2/L3 fabric components, including routing, bridging, and policy control.

• Integrating with authentication systems (e.g., RADIUS, TACACS), logging, and monitoring. - Implementing security policies and access controls within the fabric.

• Collaborating with architecture and security teams to align with enterprise standards.

• Documenting configurations, design decisions, and operational procedures.

Must-haves:

• Experience in network infrastructure engineering for 2 years.

• Strong hands-on experience with network fabric technologies (e.g., Cisco ACI, VXLAN, EVPN, Juniper Contrail, or similar).

• Proven experience in building and maintaining multitenant environments.

• Deep understanding of L2/L3 networking, BGP/OSPF, VRFs, VLANs, and ACLs.

• Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting fabric environments.

• Strong documentation skills and ability to work independently within a short-term project.

• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
