
Head of Operations Pension

We are looking to appoint a Head of Operations as a key strategic hire, with a clear succession path to the Deputy CEO role within our Pension business.
Role responsibilities:
- Define and ensure the implementation of Pilar 2 Operation strategic objectives in line with overall company strategy for 2025 – 2027. This involves long-term planning and tactical execution to ensure the organization operates efficiently and effectively.
- Set-up optimal organization structures and continuous adjustment as per need and requirements of the business.
- Drive the annual process of capacity planning in operation and proactive take measures to ensure proper capacity and competences to manage production and projects portfolio.
- Drive the change together with Pilar 2 management team and act as a Business Owner in projects by continuous prioritization of Pilar 2 initiatives and planning according with SAFe methodology and Project Governance framework.
- Creates an environment with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement (process mapping, quick wins, KPIs, Dashboards, Quality check list ) driving operational excellence through digitalization and automatization of the processes impacted by volumes.
- Responsible for managing Pilar 2 operation activities according with pension legal norms and internal procedures supporting implementation of the new legal requirements according with norm changes and OUG.
- Represent the company in relation with Authorities during annual controls or in any direct or indirect communication being responsible for implementation of identified measures.
- Continuous alignment and follow-up on respecting legal requirements and improving the quality of the operational process with second line functions (Risk Management, Internal Audit, Internal Control).
- Executive experience is required to manage company board related interaction and represent operational area to different industry events
- Plan and manage execution of annual operation budget looking always for opportunities for efficiency
- Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports and operation teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring that team members are well-equipped through training and professional development

- Adaptability - flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
