Core Objective
Drive explosive brand awareness on TikTok through strategic short-form video content, trend-jacking, community building, and data-driven optimization. Transform the brand into a TikTok cultural presence that generates organic reach, builds engaged communities, and converts viewers into brand advocates through platform-native storytelling and viral campaign strategies.
Key Responsibilities
TikTok Strategy & Trend Leadership:
Develop and execute comprehensive TikTok-specific strategies aligned with brand awareness objectives, leveraging the platform's unique algorithm, For You Page (FYP) dynamics, and trending audio/hashtag opportunities
Monitor TikTok trends daily and implement rapid-response content strategies to capitalize on viral moments, sounds, challenges, and cultural conversations relevant to the brand
Conduct competitive analysis of top-performing TikTok accounts in the industry and adjacent spaces to identify content gaps, differentiation opportunities, and emerging best practices
Lead cross-functional collaboration with marketing, creative, and product teams to ensure TikTok content authentically represents brand values while maintaining platform-native authenticity
Brand Awareness Campaign Management:
Together with the PPC Manager, create and oversee large-scale TikTok advertising campaigns leveraging TikTok Ads Manager, including In-Feed Ads, TopView, Branded Hashtag Challenges, and Branded Effects
Design viral content strategies focused on achieving FYP placement, maximizing organic reach, and driving brand recognition through thumb-stopping creative hooks and entertainment-first storytelling
Develop and execute TikTok creator partnership programs, collaborating with micro and macro-influencers to amplify brand reach through authentic UGC and partnership content
Manage crisis communications and reputation management on TikTok, responding to comments, duets, stitches, and brand mentions with speed and brand-appropriate tone
Content Creation & Production:
Own end-to-end TikTok content calendar management, ensuring consistent posting schedules optimized for TikTok's algorithm (minimum 3-5 posts per week)
Create platform-native TikTok videos using CapCut, leveraging trending effects, transitions, text overlays, and audio to maximize engagement and shareability
Together with the Copywriter, develop scroll-stopping hooks, captions, and on-screen text that drive watch time, completion rates, and comment engagement
Test diverse content formats including educational content, behind-the-scenes storytelling, user-generated content campaigns, comedy sketches, POV videos, and day-in-the-life series
Leverage TikTok's native editing features, green screen effects, duet/stitch functionality, and live streaming capabilities to create interactive brand experiences
Analytics & Performance Optimization:
Track and analyze TikTok-specific KPIs including video views, average watch time, completion rate, shares, saves, profile visits, follower growth rate, and FYP placement frequency
Generate comprehensive TikTok performance reports with actionable insights for stakeholders, demonstrating ROI of both organic and paid initiatives
Optimize content strategy based on TikTok Analytics data, A/B testing different hooks, video lengths, posting times, hashtag strategies, and content themes
Monitor TikTok comments, DMs, and brand mentions to track audience sentiment, identify community feedback patterns, and engage authentically with followers
Utilize TikTok Creative Center and trend discovery tools to identify emerging sounds, hashtags, and content opportunities before they reach peak saturation
Community Building & Engagement:
Build and nurture TikTok community through consistent engagement with comments, responding to video replies, creating duets and stitches with user content, and fostering two-way conversations
Develop TikTok-specific branded hashtag challenges that encourage user participation, UGC creation, and viral spread across the platform
Establish brand voice and personality on TikTok that balances authenticity, entertainment value, and strategic brand messaging without appearing overly corporate
Identify and engage with brand advocates and micro-communities within TikTok, fostering relationships that drive organic word-of-mouth growth
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field
4+ years of hands-on TikTok management experience with demonstrated success in growing accounts from zero or scaling established presences to 100K+ followers
Proven track record of creating viral TikTok content with videos achieving 100K+ views and consistent FYP placement
Experience managing TikTok advertising budgets exceeding $50K and delivering measurable brand awareness results through paid campaigns
**Native or fluent Romanian speaker** with cultural fluency to create locally relevant content and engage authentically with Romanian-speaking audiences
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in TikTok Ads Manager including campaign setup, audience targeting, creative optimization, and conversion tracking
Expert-level video editing using CapCut, including mastery of trending effects, transitions, text animations, audio syncing, and export optimization
Deep knowledge of TikTok Analytics, Creative Center, and third-party TikTok analytics tools for performance tracking and trend identification
Understanding of TikTok algorithm mechanics, FYP ranking factors, engagement signals, and content distribution patterns
Proficiency in Canva for creating supplementary graphics, thumbnails, and branded visual assets
Knowledge of TikTok SEO best practices including hashtag strategy, keyword optimization in captions, and discoverability tactics
