Your impact:

As an Associate Editor in our team, you'll be responsible for creating multimedia content across written and video formats for Commercial Property Executive and Multi-Housing News. This role combines traditional editorial responsibilities with dynamic video reporting and social media content creation. You'll write daily news articles, produce video content for social platforms, present and promote content initiatives on camera and produce interviews with industry leaders. Additionally, you'll manage social media channels for CPE and MHN, track analytics data and support other publishing initiatives.

These tasks require monitoring key markets to stay current with industry issues, trends, deals and development projects. The role demands strong on-camera presence for video reporting, ability to analyze and communicate real estate data through multiple media format and skills in creating engaging social media content.

This hybrid role requires working from the office at least once a week, so please take into account that you should be based in or near Cluj-Napoca.

What You'll Bring Along:

• BA in English and/or Journalism, Marketing, Business, Finance, Communications, or Digital Media (or a combination of these);
• Excellent command of written and spoken English with strong on-camera presence;
• Strong writing skills and video communication abilities—previous experience in content creation, broadcast journalism or digital media is an asset;
• Comfort presenting news on camera for social media platforms;
• Very good online research skills and ability to consume and summarize information;
• Analytical thinking with ability to translate complex data into engaging video content;
• Efficient time management across multiple content formats and deadlines;
• Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook;
• Knowledge of the U.S. real estate market and economic trends not required but a plus.

What You'll Do:

• Develop knowledge of the economy and real estate in specific U.S. metro markets via online research, tracking press releases and news sources;
• Draw on this expertise to develop ideas for and write targeted news and other content for two major online publications/websites;
• Create video reports and social media content presenting the latest real estate news and trends;
• Support video production projects, including planning, filming and basic editing tasks;
• Organize daily workload to meet deadlines across written articles, video content and social media posting schedules;
• Build a network of PR contacts and industry sources for both written articles and video interview opportunities;
• Work with other departments within the company to obtain relevant data and coordinate multimedia content strategies.
