We are looking for a Test Engineer to work on E-Drive (motor + electronics) functional and environmental testing and qualification.

Ebm-papst Group is the world's leading manufacturer of fans and motors.

What to expect:

  • The role will be primarily focusing on but not limited to define, perform, and interpret E-Drive (motor + electronics) tests.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform wide range of tests and inspections for E-Drive systems including electronic hardware developments (PCBs) according to internal, customers and component manufacturers requirements.
  • Continuously create, adjust, and improve test protocols, procedures, and reports
  • Interpret data for performed tests and analysis of test case failure modes
  • Qualification of new electronic components
  • Contribute to laboratory definition and setup
  • Supports sale/product management/customer service to address technical questions on test processes

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in electronics/electrical engineering, or equivalent
    • 3 years experience in electrical machines, power electronics, electromagnetic compatibility
  • Strong grasp on safety requirements and test standards
  • Good to have working knowledge of motor and drive integration
