We are looking for a mechanical design engineer to join our R&D team focused on product support and further development of existing motor sizes. ebm-papst Group is the world's leading manufacturer of fans and motors.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and design mechanical systems, components, and assemblies using CAD software (Creo).
  • Technical product optimization and working on VAVE projects.
  • Offer support for manufacturing for the localized products.
  • Act as interface/contact person for technical tasks for purchasing team.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (such as manufacturing, electronics, and software engineering) to ensure designs are feasible, and align with project requirements.
  • Prepare detailed design specifications, BOMs, and technical documentation to ensure smooth transitions to manufacturing/test/prototype.
  • Actively participate in design reviews, contribute to process improvements, and suggest engineering solutions to enhance product quality and efficiency.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Systems or a related field.
  • Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CREO).
  • Ability to produce high-quality work with an emphasis on accuracy and precision.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • A passion for solving complex engineering problems and a commitment to developing innovative solutions.
  • Ability to contribute to the design, testing devices, and test setup for the product, helping to build a cohesive technological ecosystem.
  • Experience in Motor Development is a plus.
