Role Purpose
The HR Business Partner will report to the HR Manager – Infrastructure and will be integrated into the Human Resources Department for all CRH companies in Romania, coordinated by the Country HR Director. This role will oversee HR activities for the assigned business unit, covering all HR areas to ensure the organization has the right structure and capabilities to deliver on short-, medium-, and long-term business objectives. The business under the HR Business Partner's responsibility will include the assigned business unit - concrete & aggregates activities - , as well as all development projects and future acquisitions. Given the location of the various sites, the role will be based in Bucharest and will require a high level of availability for travel between locations, especially during the first year.
Key Responsibilities
- Workforce Planning & Recruitment: Collaborates with business leaders to ensure organizational structure and staffing plans align with company goals. Oversees recruitment processes, onboarding, and skill development.
- HR Budgeting: Prepares budget proposals for staffing, training, and recruitment within the assigned business unit.
- HR Integration for New Businesses: Leads integration of HR processes, organizational design, recruitment, and systems for new projects and acquisitions.
- Process Improvement: Aligns local HR processes with Group standards, proposes enhancements, and supports optimization efforts.
- Reporting & Analytics: Delivers regular and ad-hoc reports with high data quality to support decision-making. Owns follow-up actions and proposes improvements.
- Local HR Support: Ensures local HR needs are met, including training, employee events, and coordination with admin and payroll teams.
- Group Initiatives Implementation: Supports roll-out of Group-wide HR programs (e.g., Talent Management, Performance Management, Compensation Review, Development Planning, Culture & Engagement), ensuring relevance and quality.
- Project Management: Leads or contributes to local and national HR projects based on organizational needs and personal development interests.
- Health & Safety Culture: Actively promotes and supports H&S initiatives within the business and across the Group.
