We're looking for a
Senior Accountant
who is
analytically sharp, curious, and business-minded

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and account for supplier and customer retrospective discounts (rebates, bonuses, credit notes).
  • Ensure monthly accruals and reconciliations are accurately reflected.
  • Collaborate with commercial, controlling, and procurement teams to validate discount agreements.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of discount accounting processes.
  • Ensure full compliance with tax and VAT requirements for supplier invoices.
  • Cooperate with the Shared Service Center (SSC) for correct coding and posting of AP invoices (OPEX).
  • Post accruals, reclassifications, and cost adjustments in Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Support month-end closing activities and cost accounting reconciliations.
  • Provide audit support and ensure proper documentation for all AP transactions.
  • Maintain correct documentation for transfer pricing and non-resident suppliers.
  • Ensure accurate allocation of deductible and non-deductible expenses and proper VAT treatment.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–6 years of accounting experience, in cost or project accounting preferably in a retail or FMCG environment.
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge and fluency in English.
