is an internationally oriented engineering company operating in the design of chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology plants.

As a Senior Accountant
, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing our international financial operations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with global accounting standards, and help drive financial efficiency across our projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounting for invoices issued to both internal and external customers, as well as service suppliers.
  • Record and process receipts and payments based on bank statements, expense reports, and cash register transactions.
  • Compile and deliver financial reports in accordance with the requirements of the parent company.
  • Support the annual audit process by preparing necessary documentation and assisting external auditors.
  • Generate client invoices in alignment with ongoing project activities and contractual terms.
  • Execute monthly financial reconciliations, period-end closings, and inventory control procedures in compliance with internal standards.
  • Develop and organize the required documentation to support the annual inventory procedures in accordance with internal policies.
  • Monitor project status and progress on an hourly basis.
  • Maintain communication with the external financial consultant.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills with colleagues and cross-functional departments.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and task prioritization abilities.
  • University degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Completed Finance-Accounting training courses with certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in international accounting.
  • Solid understanding of applicable financial legislation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems; experience with Microsoft D365 is a plus.
  • Experience with systems: MS Office, ERP, Microsoft D365 is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of English, knowledge of German is a plus.
