Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Development:
    Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to penetrate the Romanian market, identifying key growth opportunities within telecom operators, utility companies, data centers, system integrators, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Sales Target Achievement:
    Drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure, consistently meeting or exceeding assigned sales quotas and objectives.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with key clients, distributors, and strategic partners. Serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts.
  • Market Intelligence:
    Conduct thorough market research to monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes. Provide insightful feedback and reports to regional management to inform product and strategy decisions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with internal teams including Marketing, Technical Support, Product Management, and Logistics to ensure customer needs are met and projects are delivered successfully.
  • Representation:
    Represent Hengtong at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our products and services and generate new business leads.
  • Contract Management:
    Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, tenders, and contracts in accordance with company guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • A minimum of
    5-7 years
    of proven experience in a senior sales or business development role, preferably within the fiber optic, telecommunications, cable, or power transmission industries.
  • Essential:
    In-depth knowledge of and an established network within the Romanian telecom and/or energy infrastructure market.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and growing market share in a competitive B2B environment.
  • Experience with large-scale project bidding and tender processes (e.g., public infrastructure projects).
  • Strong understanding of technical products; ability to articulate value propositions and technical advantages to a diverse audience.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in
    English and Romanian
    is mandatory. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit, and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Romania and occasionally within Europe.
