Role Description

This is a contract role for a Leasing & Tenant Assistance Specialist, operating on-site in the Bucharest Metropolitan Area. The specialist will oversee lease administration, assist tenants with inquiries, coordinate resident retention initiatives, and ensure compliance with leasing processes. Day-to-day tasks include addressing tenant concerns, managing lease documentation, and collaborating with teams to maintain tenant satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Requirements and Expectations

We are looking for a

 who is passionate about the retail and real estate industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of 
engagement, seriousness, and long-term commitment
, with the intention to remain in the role for 
at least one year
 and contribute to the ongoing success of Unirea Shopping Center.

The 
Leasing & Tenant Assistance Specialist
 will not only manage existing tenant relationships but also play an active role in 
business development
 by identifying and pursuing new leasing opportunities. This includes 
market prospecting, outreach to potential tenants
, and maintaining a constant pulse on retail trends and competitor activities.

Key Competencies and Responsibilities Include:

  • Actively 
    prospect and engage potential tenants
     to expand the shopping center's brand and retail mix.
  • Build and maintain 
    strong relationships with existing and prospective tenants
    , ensuring a high level of satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with the leasing, marketing, and operations teams to 
    optimize space utilization and tenant performance
    .
  • Conduct 
    market research and competitor analysis
     to identify emerging opportunities and support strategic leasing initiatives.
  • Support in 
    lease negotiations
     and coordinate with legal and administrative departments to ensure contract accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date 
    tenant records, correspondence, and reports
    .
  • Provide 
    exceptional service
     and timely responses to tenant inquiries, concerns, and operational needs.
  • Assist in organizing 
    tenant engagement activities
     and promotional collaborations to enhance the center's community presence.
