We are recruiting a Senior Project Manager for Nuclear Power Projects in Romania ( new build)

Role Definition

Senior Project Manager to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects in the nuclear energy sector, with a focus on nuclear new build In Romania.

Projects phases: This role supports the full lifecycle of nuclear projects—from planning and design through construction, commissioning, and handover.

Location: Bucharest, Romania

Duration : min 2 years

What We Request

  1. Project Manager Nuclear
    . Minimum of
    5 years of project management experience
    , ideally with direct involvement in nuclear new build or major refurbishment projects.
  2. In-depth knowledge of
    project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2
    ) and tools.
  3. Nuclear Standards
    . Experience working with national and international nuclear standards, regulatory frameworks, and licensing processes.
  4. Fluent in Romanian and English
    (spoken and written), German is an advantage.

Role Main Responsibilities:

  1. Project management of technical support services for nuclear new build or large-scale nuclear infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
  2. Coordination of cross-functional project teams from various legal entities
  3. Interface with customer, regulatory bodies, and contractors to ensure alignment with technical and contractual requirements.
  4. Ensure compliance with Romanian and international nuclear codes and standards (e.g., CNCAN, IAEA, ASME).
  5. Oversight of quality assurance and control measures, including review and approval of QAP, reports, and documentation.
  6. Supervision and coordination of site activities such as manufacturing inspections, FATs/SATs, welding and installation inspections, and commissioning processes.
  7. Lead the preparation and review of technical documentation, including qualification programs, aging management strategies, and seismic assessments.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to organizational learning through lessons learned and post-project evaluations
