Description of the role:
The Lifecycle Services Sales Engineer of Emerson Systems initiates and performs activities to increase adoption of Lifecycle Services portfolio in Romania and Moldova of Emerson DCS and PLC installed base systems, such customer presentation, customer relationship management, specify sales strategies, conclude frame and service contracts.
In this role you will build strong collaborations departments (Project Pursuit Organization, Service Operations, Customer Service, Customer Success, Marketing, Global Lifecycle Services) to continuously update and improve service offerings considering all relevant business aspects in the region.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Drive and achieve sales targets
- Define and deploy short to long term sales strategies in close collaboration with CSEE Guardian Software and Solutions Sales Manager
- Deliver internal & external communication plans
- Build and share multi-year business forecast supported by whitespace analysis
- Identify and qualify opportunities with support from European System and Software Solutions Team
- Convert qualified opportunities into orders
- Conclude Frame and Long Term Service Agreements with customers
- Build Cyber Security strategies for related customers
- Proactivity with customers in all industries (such as Oil & Gas, Refining, Chemical, Life Sciences and Power.)
- Participate on sales processes continuous improvement
- Provide market feedback to sales leadership and marketing
- Performs other additional specific duties, when requested by the business. The business reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments in line with business requirements
- You are open to travel across Romania and Moldova for internal meetings, and to cover all install based
For this role, you will need
- Degree in Mechanical, or Automation, or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years industry experience with 3 years sales related experience
- Professional experience in Industrial business processes in automation, delivering and position proposals for modernization or life time extension projects.
- Understanding of install based offerings, pricing analysis, customer value proposition
- Ability to present clear and concise information to team, internal and external customers
Preferred Qualifications that set you apart:
- Good DCS, PLC, IIoT or Emerson Systems and Software Business knowledge is a plus
- Experience in Advance Process Control, or Operator Training Simulator technologies
- Good in Asset Management solutions in Industrial applications and Cabinet (DCS, PLC) manufacturing processes
- Great teammate, results orientated with influential and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of industrial environment, commercial exposure (preferred)
