As a
Sr. Associate I, Field Technical Service Engineering
supporting our
Engineering function
, you will be trusted to ensure Alcon surgical equipment performs optimally at customer sites and demo locations. Based in
Bucarest
, you will play a critical role in maintaining equipment performance, driving customer satisfaction, and supporting innovation.
Please note that this role is a 1 year fixed term contract (with opportunity of renewal) and requires to travel/drive all over the country according to the business needs.
In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Alcon surgical equipment.
  • Performing preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades in line with company standards.
  • Managing your daily schedule and communications with customers, dispatch, and internal teams.
  • Documenting service activities and escalating complex issues to engineering teams.
  • Supporting compliance by strictly following SOPs and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in field service engineering or technical support roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
  • Commitment to quality, compliance, and continuous learning.
