Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and curious Junior Service Engineer to join our expanding service department. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology and eager to build a career in the medical equipment field. You will work closely with experienced colleagues, supporting the installation, maintenance, and service of cutting-edge medical devices – with a strong emphasis on contrast media injectors for CT, MRI and Angiography.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation & Setup: Install and configure medical equipment at various healthcare facilities, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to manufacturer specifications.

  • Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance on medical devices, including calibration, testing, and software updates to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.

  • Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair faults in medical equipment, providing prompt solutions to minimize downtime and ensuring patient safety.

  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to healthcare professionals on the proper use and care of medical equipment.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and installations, ensuring all service activities are documented in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.

  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by delivering excellent customer service, understanding their needs, and providing timely and effective solutions.

  • Compliance: Ensure all service activities comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics or Electrical Engineering, will be considered an advantage.

  • Experience: Previous experience is a plus but not required – we provide full training.

  • Technical Aptitude: Interest in learning how to diagnose and repair electronic/mechanical systems.

  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

  • Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset, willingness to learn, and proactive attitude.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel to various client locations in Romania as required.

  • Driver's License: A valid B category driving license is mandatory.
