About the Role

Originations is the department responsible for processing loan applications from customers who want to purchase a vehicle.

What will be your roles and responsibilities in the team?

  • Review approved underwritten proposals for accuracy and completion. Process and administer finance contracts, supporting documentation and customer KYC proofs
  • In case of information discrepancies on proposal, work on remedial measures to obtain more/correct information
  • Communicate effectively with dealers, both verbally and in writing. Answer questions about the loan application process, explain loan terms and conditions, and provide guidance to dealer when required
  • Engage with employees from other departments within the organization, such as customer service or underwriting, to ensure that loan applications are processed quickly and efficiently.
  • Process PEPS and Sanctions, investigating and escalating any matches
  • Comply with all relevant regulations, including those related to consumer protection and data privacy

Are we looking for you? Yes, if you have:

  • Fluency in spoken and written German language. Should be able to hold seamless conversations in German over phone and chat with dealers and other external parties
  • Working knowledge of English language - Candidate should be able to understand in-person conversations in English as part of training modules or regular discussion, and also read emails/documents written in English. Basic fluency in language will suffice
  • Knowledgeable about the automotive finance or banking industry – is an advantage
  • Previous experience in underwriting / purchasing roles with banking or non-banking financial firms is preferred.
  • Good at working with numbers.
