New opportunity in Craiova – Quality Assurance Manager (Manufacturing)

On behalf of our client,
a prestigious aviation manufacturing company that is now entering the Romanian market by opening its new facility in Craiova
, we are looking for an an experienced and committed
Quality Assurance Manager
to join their team in Craiova — a key role in ensuring compliance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement as the company expands its Romanian operations.

As part of the site leadership team, the
Quality Assurance Manager
will oversee the implementation and development of the
Quality Management System
in alignment with
AS9100, ISO 9001
, and
EASA Part 21G
standards, while acting as a true ambassador for quality and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all processes comply with
    ISO 9001, AS9100
    , and customer-specific quality requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement of internal and customer quality performance (PPM, KPIs).
  • Lead and coordinate
    system, process, and product audits
    , ensuring compliance with aviation regulations.
  • Analyze quality issues, perform root-cause investigations (8D, FMEA), and define corrective/preventive actions.
  • Supervise quality control operations, production audits, and certification processes
  • Train and mentor teams in quality assurance tools, standards, and methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with global quality and production teams to align and implement best practices.
  • Support the setup and maturity of new production processes in line with company standards.

We are looking for:

  • A
    degree in Engineering
    (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar).
  • 3–5 years of experience
    in quality management, ideally in manufacturing or aerospace.
  • Proven understanding of
    AS9100 / ISO 9001
    and
    aviation regulatory standards
    (EASA Part 21G or 145).
  • Experience with
    SAP ERP systems
    and quality tools (APQP, PCP, FMEA, KCI).
  • Auditor qualification
    and experience in production quality supervision are strong assets.
  • Fluent in
    English and Romanian
    ; knowledge of
    Hungarian
    is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, cross-cultural awareness, and commitment to organizational growth.
