Manpower Group
is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a prestigious aviation manufacturing company that is now entering the Romanian market by opening its new facility in
Craiova.

As part of this start-up phase, you'll work closely with the German procurement teams and the Facility Manager to ensure a smooth operational launch. You'll manage local purchasing activities for equipment, services, and installations, helping to establish a reliable supplier base for our growing site.


Your main responsibilities

  • Develop and manage local suppliers to support the Craiova site start-up.
  • Coordinate procurement of technical equipment, fixtures, and installations in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage orders for materials, services, and company equipment.
  • Prepare and evaluate tenders to ensure best value and compliance.
  • Support the Facility Manager in sourcing equipment and services for the new plant.
  • Handle supplier complaints and ensure timely resolution.
  • Contribute to procurement strategies and overall company goals


Your profile

  • University/college degree in
    Business Administration
    or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience
    in Procurement and/or Project Management.
  • Strong knowledge of
    local suppliers
    and market practices.
  • Proficient in
    Romanian and English
    (Hungarian is a plus).
  • Strong
    negotiation
    and
    communication
    skills.
  • Ability to
    read construction drawings
    and service specifications.
  • Good command of
    MS Office
    and
    SAP (Procurement modules / ARIBA)
    .
  • Basic knowledge of
    Contract Law
    ,
    Air Law
    , and the
    8D method
    .
  • Willingness to travel and engage fully with Diehl's Mission, Vision, and Values.
