RELOC - Electroputere VFU Craiova is one of the largest companies in Central and South Eastern Europe, specializing in the production, development, and repair of diesel and electric locomotives. RELOC encompasses skilled jobs across production, design, research, and the development of innovative technological concepts for the railroad industry. The company also hosts a Research and Development Center for railway traction, aimed at enhancing existing models and introducing new solutions. To date, RELOC has contributed to the design, construction, modernization, or repair of over 6,000 locomotives, subways, and trams.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Buyer, located in the Craiova Metropolitan Area. The Buyer will handle procurement tasks, including sourcing vendors, analyzing purchasing requirements, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Responsibilities also include monitoring inventory levels, managing supplier relationships, processing purchase orders, and adhering to company budget and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation
  • Analytical skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using procurement and reporting tools
  • Familiarity with industry-specific materials or equipment is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
  • Proven work experience as a Buyer or in a similar role is a strong asset
