Our client is one of the leading construction companies specialised in niche foundations building and preparation. Our client has over 20 years of experience operating in Romania and one of the best reputations in this niche market.

For their Romanian office in Bucharest we are now searching for an Operations Department Manager responsible for the performance of the department while ensuring high quality, HSE and communication standards within the team. As you will be liaising with clients from time to time, to have previous contract management experience additional to team operations experience.

Additional Required Experience and Responsibilities:

Engineering Background preferably in civil or structural engineering

Relevant experience in the management of special foundation works

Very good technical knowledge;

Experience in projects/project management and budget management;

You will demonstrate good knowledge of construction materials market and construction workforce;

The ideal candidate also knows about the legislation regarding the development of projects in the construction field;

Good knowledge of PC operation (Word, Excel, MS. Project) and design programs (Autocad);

Intermediate knowledge of English;

Organized, active person, with leadership and initiative qualities;

Operational experience

High communication and negotiation skills;
