We are now looking to welcome a
Senior Accounting Specialist
to our team, someone with experience in a professional accounting firm, who is committed to high standards, lifelong learning, and bringing real value to clients.

What you will do:

  • Perform full accounting exercises and/or review accounting entries prepared by junior team members for a portfolio of clients
  • Perform closing procedures and prepare TB, PL and BS
  • Prepare tax returns and tax calculations (VAT, Corporate Income Tax, WHT, local taxes), statutory financial statements, and management reports
  • Provide support during tax audits and financial audits, including preparation of required documentation and clarifications
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to clarify accounting and tax matters, gather necessary information, and provide status updates or guidance related to their particular situations
  • Conduct individual research on accounting and tax matters, read and interpret applicable legislation, and apply it in day-to-day activities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of internal procedures for delivering accounting and tax services
  • Mentor and train junior team members.

What we are looking for:

  • Passion for accounting, tax, and continuous professional development
  • University Degree in Accounting or Finance (ASE or similar graduate preferred)
  • Minimum
    3 years of experience
    in an accounting or consulting firm
  • Strong knowledge of Romanian Accounting Standards and tax legislation;
  • Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns
  • CECCAR membership or trainee status is a plus
  • English and Excel skills – intermediate to advanced
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with a high level of difficulty
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Confident using ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
