As a
B2B Key Account Manager
, you will shape and lead the energy transition in Romania. Based around
Bucharest
and traveling nationwide, you will develop our customer base and bring our innovative trading and balancing energy services to the to the operators of BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), biogas plants, hydro plants, CHP plants and other flexible producers and consumers. With our proven trading algorithms and technical expertise, you will have a strong platform to succeed in building long-term client relationships.

What would you work on?

  • Lead sales activities for our flexibility portfolio and Trading-as-a-Service offering in Romania.
  • Build and execute tailored sales strategies for the Romanian market, working closely with management.
  • Identify and acquire new customers, with a focus on BESS, biogas, hydro and CHP plant operators, and project developers.
  • Independently conduct contract negotiations
    and design customer-specific marketing solutions.
  • Create compelling offers and presentations based on real performance data from our existing portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships with operators, investors, and local market stakeholders.
  • Represent Nano Energies/Second Foundation at industry conferences, trade fairs, and networking events in Romania.
  • Monitor market trends, regulations, and competitor activities to inform strategy and identify opportunities.

What makes you a great candidate?

  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience
    (ESCO and energy commodity sales), ideally in the Romanian energy sector (power generation, storage, flexibility, or related).
  • Strong knowledge of the Romanian energy market is essential.
  • Proven ability to sell services, with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Solid technical understanding of power plants, storage technologies, and trading concepts.
  • Mobile and flexible: willing to spend time on the road across Romania.
  • Native/fluent Romanian
    (mandatory) and strong English for internal communication.
  • Based in or around Bucharest.
  • Class B driving license
