As an Application Support Engineer – SAP BTP Monitoring, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and incident resolution for our SAP BTP-based applications and services.
Working in a 24/7 rotation model
, you will provide technical support in real-time, monitor applications, manage incidents, and collaborate closely with development, operations and release management teams.

Location: Bucharest, Sibiu, Cluj, Brasov, Timisoara and Iasi.
Primary Functions And Tasks

• Monitor SAP BTP applications and services across all environments.
• Offer real-time technical support and respond quickly to alerts and incidents.
• Identify incidents, troubleshoot, and resolve or escalate them according to documented procedures.
• Create and manage tickets using Kibana or other ticketing tools.
• Assign tickets to appropriate teams and follow up until closure.
• Ensure timely resolution of tickets and maintain quality documentation of steps taken.
• Collaborate with Development, Operations, QA and Release Management teams to ensure transparency and resolution.
• Document incidents, recurring issues, and propose process or technical improvements.
• Maintain strong internal communication to ensure shift handovers and 24/7 continuity.
• Test new requirements.

We are looking for:

• A Bachelor of Science degree (preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent), or minimal work experience in software development.
• Good understanding of business functional areas and enterprise processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• An analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience working with SQL databases (basic to intermediate level).
• Ability to take initiative and manage tasks autonomously.
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
• Able to learn new tools and technologies quickly, and help others do the same.
• Open to working in rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Availability to work in shifts.
