is driving the future of autonomous vehicles with its state-of-the-art LiDAR technology. Our innovative systems, trusted by automotive giants such as BMW and Volkswagen, are revolutionizing the industry and setting new standards in automotive technology.

Innoviz's Software team is developing state-of-the-art software for our Lidar system, a leading sensor in the automotive industry. The Software includes embedded code for the Lidar, algorithms, and embedded development for computer vision and tools for control and visualization. The Software Architects leads the requirements and architecture definitions for all software aspects including performance architecture, exploring new technologies by leading proof of concepts, system and software validation, and testing concepts definitions.

Responsibilities:

  • Set the software requirements and design a detailed architecture for our next-generation LiDAR systems.
  • SW architecture design, including the following:
  • Real-time Low-level Firmware, HW accelerators handshake, DMA engines, Inter-processing communication for Base Software implementation.
  • Multi-core System on a Chip, Complex management, and control-based AMP/SMP Real-time Operating System environment.
  • Functional Safety Software Architecture development according to ISO26262.
  • Automotive SPICE software requirements and architecture definition.
  • Working closely with System Architecture, System Engineering, and Technical Product Engineering teams.
  • Close collaboration with OEM leads and Software Architects.
  • Serving as an AUTOSAR software stack function owner, leading AUTOSAR activities with sub-contractors

Requirements

  • BSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science from a top university.
  • Proven hands-on experience (at least 3 years) in writing C/C++ for real-time embedded systems.
  • Proven Hands-on and architecture experience in Classic AUTOSAR protocol stack (Integration of basic software from known vendors to an embedded platform).
  • Experience in Communication protocols (Including AUTOSAR).
  • Experience with Real-time OS with Multicore.
  • High English level - speaking, writing, and reading.
