Digital Analytics Specialist

Mission
As a Digital Analytics Specialist, you will support the design, implementation, and optimization of Altex's analytics framework across three major eCommerce businesses and CRM. You will ensure accurate data collection, build reports and dashboards, and deliver insights that enable data-driven decisions across e-commerce, marketing, trading, performance and customer lifecycle. You will collaborate with media, seo, development teams, as well as category managers and tagging external partners to ensure proper tracking and help the business better understand customer behaviour, sales funnels, media efficiency and long-term customer value (CLV).
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Collection & Infrastructure
- Support the implementation of the digital analytics framework across web, app and CRM.
- Work closely with developers to document requirements for tagging, data layers and events.
- Collaborate with the tagging agency to ensure reliable data collection and troubleshooting.
- Validate tracking accuracy and consistency across platforms.
2. Insights & Reporting
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports on:
- Sales & Conversion Performance
- Traffic, Media & Campaign Efficiency
- Customer Behaviour & Funnel Insights
- Media Cost per Order & ROAS
- Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), Retention & Repeat Purchase Rates
- Provide periodic reporting and ad-hoc analysis to e-commerce, marketing, CRM and trading teams.
- Ensure dashboards (Looker Studio / GA4 / Excel / Power BI) are accurate, up-to-date and user friendly.
3. Customer Analytics & CRM
- Assist in building a customer-centric view of performance, focusing on CLV, retention and cohort analysis.
- Support segmentation and trigger definition for personalized communication (email, push, app).
- Provide insights on customer lifecycle: acquisition, activation, repeat, churn.
- Partner with CRM team to measure and optimize targeted campaigns.
4. Campaign & Tagging Support
- Ensure campaigns are correctly tracked with UTMs, conversion codes and pixels.
- Monitor and validate event tracking (GA4, Meta, DV360, etc.).
- Escalate and follow up on tagging or tracking issues with agency and developers.
5. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with media, UX/CRO, product and content teams to provide data-driven recommendations.
- Support testing and optimization initiatives (A/B testing, funnel analysis).
- Document processes, dashboards, and reports for knowledge sharing.
What You Bring
- 2–4 years of experience in digital analytics or similar role, preferably in eCommerce or digital marketing.
- Good knowledge of eCommerce KPIs, digital marketing channels and customer journeys.
- Experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio (or similar dashboards).
- Strong skills in Excel; exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
- Understanding of CRM metrics, segmentation and CLV models.
- Analytical mindset and ability to translate numbers into actionable insights.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive attitude.
- Good communication skills in English; ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.
