The
Homologation Specialist Trucks
offers back-office support for direct sales trucks operations – transaction flows, approvals, technics, homologation, logistics, deliveries

Responsibilities:

  • Technical configurations for all the trucks sold
    by the Trucks Department.
  • Logistics
    : ensures the trucks transportations to various locations as requested by the customer or by the situation of the trucks. Takes note and action in order to issue plates and 3rd party insurance, CASCO as well in order to have a risk free transport segment.
  • Bodybuilders
    : ensures the conditions for ordering the bodies to the authorized suppliers in accordance with the dept procedures. Checks whether the BB have the QP status and if SIC is necessary. Defines/Verifies/Approves the technical specs of the bodies, in order to meet the legal requirement as well the customer requirement. Always compatibility with the MB products is in the scope of the checks
  • Homologation :
    ensures all the documentation required for all type of homologation processes (individual homologation, Type homologation, etc)
  • Training activity
    – retail support

Training and qualification:

  • 1-4 years of experience in a similar position
  • University degree - mandatory, technical to be preferred
  • English proficiency, German nice-to-have
  • B driver license needed, nice to have C category

Technical knowledge:
