If you'll join our team, you will be challenged to:

• Collaborate with business leaders, enterprise architects and stakeholders to define software requirements and design software solutions that meet their needs and align with our company's strategic goals.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our software systems, technology landscape, and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Define and maintain software architecture standards and procedures to ensure consistency and alignment with business goals.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including software developers, business analyst, project managers, and quality assurance, to ensure that software solutions are designed and implemented in alignment with architecture standards and meet quality standards.
• Develop and maintain architectural artifacts, including application architectures, data models, and technology roadmaps.
• Additionally, you will play an important role in growing the technical knowledge of the solution implementation teams by aligning them with new technical frameworks, tools, and best practices. This includes facilitating architectural reviews, providing input on project planning and execution, and developing and maintaining architectural artifacts such as application architectures, data models, and technology roadmaps.
• Ensure that security and risk management practices are embedded in architectural designs.
• Evaluate third-party software solutions and make recommendations on how they can be integrated into our software architecture.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT leaders, and external partners to ensure that software solutions are delivered effectively and efficiently.

To perform in this role, we would like you to have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software architecture and development, with a focus on the latest Java technology stacks
• Experience in the IT banking sector and industry-specific best practices and regulatory standards is highly desirable.
• Expertise in modern API development technologies, including REST, GraphQL, and API gateways.
• Expertise in designing and developing software systems with various Microsoft or Java related technologies
• Expertise with Kafka/RabbitMQ/IBM MQ, Oracle Databases, containerization platforms and service based architectures.
• Deep knowledge of software systems, technology landscape, and industry trends, with a focus on emerging technologies and best practices.
• Strong track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions and APIs.
• Experience developing and maintaining software architecture artifacts, including application architectures, data models, and technology roadmaps.
• Deep knowledge of API standards, patterns, and best practices, with a focus on designing APIs that are flexible, extensible, and easy to integrate with other systems.
• Strong experience in developing and maintaining API documentation and specifications, including OpenAPI/Swagger or RAML.
• Familiar with tools, techniques and frameworks like: UML, BPMN, ArchiMate
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, IT leaders, and development teams to understand business needs and translate them into API requirements.
