Currently, ING is the 4th bank in the local markets, based on the assets and is a universal bank with 1,6 million clients from three business segments: individual clients (Retail), SMEs and Mid-Corporate clients and Wholesale Banking.
Mission
The Relationship Manager will be responsible for coordinating the relationship with the assigned portfolio of international subsidiaries within the Network Sector Coverage portfolio in line with ING's policies and procedures. The aim is to provide products and services to our clients in an efficient and optimized manner while in the same time keen to identify high value-added business opportunities that can be further pursued jointly with the specialized sector teams.
Your Day to Day
Determine together with the Sector Head the strategy for the Sector and in particular for the assigned client portfolio.
Build up market intelligence, following closely and updating a well-defined prospect list and monitoring competition.
Develop for each relevant Client a strategy to improve both the overall relationship and the share-of-wallet as a result of internal discussions with the wallet sizing team.
Prepare and deliver to customers, in collaboration with colleagues in the Product departments, strategic presentations to win/ maintain the primary relationship and position ING as a trusted partner for the company.
Maintain a continuous dialogue with the Client at different levels: CEO/CFO/ Treasurer, to ensure a good execution of the strategic client account planning.
Keep business safe and compliant, adhering to all applicable internal policies.
Active contribution to the overall Client Coverage team activities (involvement in projects related to innovation, new products/services developments and rollout, reporting, monitoring, operational activities, customer satisfaction and complaints, revenues and cost optimizations streams, commercial initiatives).
What you bring to the team
University degree in Finance, Banking or another relevant field
Minimum 2years of professional experience in the financial industry.
Passion for the customer with good payments & cash management understanding.
Capable of prioritizing and making quick and accurate decisions under pressure.
Capable of developing a strategic approach with very good communication and negotiation skills.
Financial analysis skills is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
